A relatively new tradition is slowly creeping in to wedding days across the country. It is called the "first look". Traditionally brides have wanted their husband to be to see them at the same time as the wedding guests. Superstition says it's "bad luck" for the groom to see the bride before the ceremony.
The first look allows for the bride and groom to see each other before the ceremony without 300 people sharing the moment with them. It takes the pressure off and generally allows the bride and groom to have an intimate moment just between the two of them before the hustle and bustle of the wedding day starts.
Another advantage of the first look is that most, if not all, the formal photos can be done before the ceremony so that the bride and groom, family and wedding party can go directly to the reception after the ceremony. It also allows more time for couple portraits. Blaine and Dylan were my first couple that was willing to do a first look and it was great. Dylan had the best reaction to seeing his beautiful bride. Take a look for yourself!
and this picture just cracks me up of Dylan rolling his eyes at Blaine! LOL
